Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Jean-Laurent Casanova and I have pleasure to inviting you and your colleagues to participate in the 8th ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM ON PRIMARY IMMUNODEFICIENCY DISEASES with a THEME of IMMUNE DYSREGULATION AND AUTOIMMUNITY IN PID, on November 3-4, 2012, at The Island Hotel (Formerly Four Seasons), Newport Beach, California.  The symposium  is organized bythe Foundation for Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases [FPID], and Division of Basic and Clinical Immunology, University of California, Irvine.

This symposium will highlight basic concepts of autoimmunity and immune regulation, molecular basis of autoimmunity in primary immunodeficiency diseases, including recently discovered immunodeficiency, and therapeutic approaches, including stem cell and gene therapy. Internationally recognized scientists will be addressing these topics.  A small number of abstracts would be chosen for oral presentation.

It is our endeavor to encourage young researchers, fellows, and students from all over the globe to participate at this meeting.
